Anne Mavity, Director of New Projects

Anne oversees Beacon’s housing development and congregational organizing staff and the development of new service partnerships. Her career includes positions with the Corporation for Supportive Housing, Hennepin County Commissioner Gail Dorfman, and Minneapolis’s Central Neighborhood Association. From 1990 to 1993 she staffed the Congressional Subcommittee on Housing and Community Development, developing and writing federal housing, community and economic development legislation under Committee Chairman Henry B. Gonzalez. Anne is on the St. Louis Park City Council. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lawrence University in Slavic language and literature and government, as well as a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University.
