Rotary - World Vision Honduras Water Sanitation Hygiene (WASH) Project

World Vision is pleased to be working in collaboration with the The Rotary Club of
Minneapolis City of Lakes to improve the health and well-being of children and families
in Honduras through access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). In 2014,
World Vision partnered with the Rotary clubs of Santa Rosa de Copan (Honduras) and St.
Louis Park (Minnesota, U.S.) on an $800,000 project in the Western region of Honduras.
In total, 14,229 people gained access to a lasting source of clean water through this
successful project. World Vision has again agreed to match Rotary funding for a proposed
$800,000 continuation project in the western region of Honduras. In partnership with the
Santa Rosa de Copan Rotary Club, we invite you to join with us to significantly improve the
health and well-being of 8,288 people including 3,315 children in 22 communities.
