How Has Israel's Entrepreneurial Culture Earned it the Nickname "Start-Up Nation"?

Israel is leading the way with its innovation based business climate. It's a laboratory for solving problems. Why?

Sally Abrams is a lifelong resident of Minnesota, and a graduate of the University of Minnesota. She co-directs the Speakers Bureau for the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas (JCRC MinnDak), which is the public affairs voice of the Jewish community. She has spoken about Israel and/or Judaism in scores of churches, classrooms, and civic groups.

Ms. Abrams is passionate about creating understanding of this complex part of the world and building bridges between the Jewish and non-Jewish communities.
A fluent Hebrew speaker, Sally taught Hebrew for many years as part of the University of Minnesota’s College in the Schools Program. She writes a blog on Israel for the Times of Israel website and is always planning her next trip to Israel.
Sally is married to Mike Abrams. Their family includes seven children, four by birth, three by marriage, and five perfect grandchildren.
