2015 OFFICER OF THE YEAR

Edina Morningside Rotary Club's Mike Seeger has been selected the recipient of the 2015 Mike Siitari Officer of the Year by the the Edina Crime Prevention Fund.
 
 
The nominations for Mike emphasized his continuous dedication to not only the Edina Police Department, but also his long-standing community involvement. Mike has been the coordinator of the Junior Police program for 15 years touching the lives of nearly 600 children a year. Officer Seeger grew up in Edina, graduated from the Edina High School, and is raising his family in Edina. Mike has be active with the Edina Morningside Rotary Foundation for 15 years and has also been a volunteer firefighter for the past 10 years.
 
The formal presentation of this award will be a the Edina City Council meeting on May 17th. Congratulations and thanks for your service Mike!
