This is our EMRC AM joint meeting with Edina Noon Rotary Club.
 
 
Our speaker will be Ray McCoy.
 
Ray is the Program Coordinator for the State of Minnesota's Employer Reasonable Accommodation Fund. As the Program Coordinatorhe gets the word out about ERAF to small and medium sized businesses throughout the State of Minnesota.

Habitat for Humanity Home Build Service Opportunity

Join Twin Cities Rotary EcoClub members and other Rotarians for an exciting opportunity to volunteer with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity (TCHFH) for a Habitat home build at Harrison Townhomes in Near North Minneapolis. The event is scheduled for Thursday April 25 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. If you have questions, or would like more information, email steve@solbrack.com.

ELECTRIFY EVERYTHING
Register for Edina’s Electrify Everything Workshop May 15
 
 
Do you have questions about heat pumps, induction stoves or clean energy? What about the new utility, city and federal incentives available to lower costs? Learn all about home electrification at the Electrify Everything workshop from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15. At the workshop you will learn about how to switch from fossil fuel-powered appliances to electric ones and the resources available to help. You will also have the opportunity to connect with contractors to ask questions and get projects started. Please RSVP online to reserve your spot!

EDINA READS WRITING CONTEST
John Sorteberg wins Second Prize in the Edina Reads Writing Contest.
 
John has been a long time reader and writer of poetry. His poem "Aging?" won Second Prize in the Adult Poetry category.

Our Joint Meeting with the Edina Noon Rotary Club was held on April 16th.   Michael Speetzen, CEO of Polaris Industries was the featured speaker.
 
 
 
 
 
HIGHWAY 100 CLEANUP
Highway 100 Cleanup - Saturday, April 20, 7:00 - 10:00 a.m.
 
The cold weather didn't keep Rotarians, family and friends from their service work!  Highway 100 is now cleaner and ready for spring and summer thanks to the many volunteers who turned out in the 32 degree weather.   Thank you!
