Edina Mayor James B. Hovland and Edina Public Schools Superintendent Dan Bittman will present the 2026 State of the Community on Monday, April 20, highlighting key initiatives, partnerships and priorities shaping the community’s future.

The City’s premier event for the business community will be held at Braemar Golf Course, 6364 John Harris Drive. The program will be emceed by City Manager Scott Neal and is co-sponsored by the Rotary Club of Edina and the Edina Chamber of Commerce.

During the presentation, Hovland and Bittman will share updates on major City and school district initiatives, with a focus on community engagement and collaboration. Topics will include redevelopment and park projects, public safety, tree preservation and other issues impacting Edina. Bittman will also provide updates on district priorities and initiatives.

The event includes a luncheon and is open to the public. Cost is $35. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., with the program beginning at noon.

Register for the luncheon and select your preferred meal online at EdinaMN.gov/SOTC before Friday, April 3. After the registration deadline, reservations are firm and any available seats will be opened to those who would like to attend without eating lunch.
