CAMP ENTERPRISE 2021 CANCELLED
Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, the Rotary Clubs of Edina and Edina Morningside along with the 2021 Camp Enterprise planning committee have decided to cancel Camp Enterprise for 2021. The committee is considering an alternate activity for this year (rescheduling camp for late Winter/early Spring or holding some alternate events to fill the gap).
We are disappointed, but in addition to student safety we had real concerns about financial viability due to projected lower than normal turnout and potential for higher-than-normal last-minute cancellations. To make this decision, we also considered decisions made by other youth-centered activities that are Rotary-based and community-based.
The 2021 Camp Enterprise committee would like to thank all the volunteers, the sponsoring Rotary Clubs, guidance counselors and other school staff for the work you do every year to select and send students to Camp Enterprise. Thanks also to Camp Ihduhapi staff for walking this path with us as we make this difficult but necessary decision to choose health and safety over holding Camp Enterprise in person in 2021. We appreciate your support!
