From Erica Stern - Greetings from Fernie, British Columbia! I’m having a fantastic family reunion in western Canada. I stumbled upon this lovely park in Fernie and thought you could show the photo to the club at a meeting or in the newsletter. There was a big playground and several families were there at 8:15 am! Sadly the sky and mountains look a bit hazy because of the wildfires.
“I think everybody does know how to change your life for the better . . . but why don't people do it?
One of the biggest reasons is this sense that it doesn't matter anyway, this sense of discouragement, that it's too far gone, . . . nobody believes in me, I don't believe in me.
What I am trying to do more than anything else in my work is . . . add in a layer of encouragement and hops so that you'll actually do it.”
