2022 ROTARY PEACE PROJECT

Paul Mushaho, founding President of the Rotaract Club of Nakivale and #rotary Peace Scholar, recently put together a soccer tournament in the Nakivale Refugee Settlement, Uganda (which is the oldest refugee settlement in Africa) to promote positive peace and bring Nakivale's residents together. The Rotary Club of Prior Lake and my #rotaryclub, The Rotary Club of Edina Morningside, sponsored the event. Thank you Paul for sending a Jersey and pair of shorts from the event to our club. They were presented to our club this morning. The Rotary Club of Edina Morningside started its relationship with the Nakivale Refugee Settlement by using a Rotary District 5950 grant to build a sewing center there.
